In the last years, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has fundamentally reshaped biomedical research and medical diagnostics. Its advancements have changed our ability to conduct in vivo studies of the human brain, particularly by introducing innovative methods not only for studying how cortical areas are modulated by various stimuli and interact giving rise to network-level phenomena, but also to look at the underlying vascular and microstructural architectures that support and constrain function. This workshop will delve into these cutting-edge developments, covering advances in fMRI, quantitative MRI, microstructural imaging, and other complementary modalities and approaches that provide crucial insights into the brain's physiology, structure, and function.
